Ballad for Bloggers Giveaway

ETA: I have now gotten hundreds of requests for BALLAD and am choosing between them (which is pretty much impossible). If your blog is one of the 15, I'll send you an email! Thanks for all the interest!

BalladFirst of all, I know a lot of people are waiting on e-mails from me. I'm sorry about that and I am working on my Cloning Device as hard as a I can. As soon as I've got it working, folks should start getting real replies instead of the auto-responder.

Second of all, I am feeling like I should mail out a bunch of these BALLADs that I have. I always meant to do some Clever Contest with them and righ tnow, I'm just not feeling up to running a contest. Again, after the Device is up and running, things may be different. I'm actually feeling like the Device might be up and running in time for a LINGER contest around Valentine's Day. But we'll see how it goes.

So, here's the deal. If you are a book blogger and you regularly post intelligent reviews of YA and you'd like a copy of BALLAD, send me an e-mail with your name, mailing address, a link to your blog, and your blog stats in it. Make sure the subject line says BALLAD FOR BLOGGERS. I will mail out fifteen copies of BALLAD to randomly or not randomly selected bloggers. You do not have to feel obligated to review the book, or even give it a positive review if you do read it. At all. I would, however, rather send it to folks who will actually read it, not just give it away as a contest prize or add it to a TBR stack. (I have one. I know how long it can take for it to go through it. Again, when the Device . . . yeah, you get it.) Honor system on that.

Third of all, I promise I will be more chipper on Monday. Swear. I even have a book recommendation.

I hope you get caught up soon! And, ehh, I would love *another* copy of Ballad since I'm giving mine away, but I already reviewed it and everything. On the plus side, I did give Ballad a 4.5-star rating! :D

Bummer, I'd be thrilled to read it but I'm not a book-blogger per se. I AM a writing blogger who loves to read. *wiggles eyebrows*

Rats! I don't think I qualify either.

But I guess that's okay. I probably can't wait much longer to find out what happens to James anyway.

(I'd have bought it already but for the day job. Plus, I only get to read cool things AFTER I get my own writing done, cruel taskmaster that I am.)

The good news is that by TBR pile is non-existent. I only allow myself to buy a book when I have completed "something" and I can't buy another until I finish reading the one.

Simplifies things a bit.

I have a blog (Market my words) that discusses books, writing, and marketing for authors.

You interviewed with me when your book released on your marketing :).

last year - I had about 50,000 visitors. I'd love one. If you have extras - Im running a contest next month - I could also add one to the grand prize basket.

Too bad I already won a copy, read it, reviewed, and really liked it. :)

Yes, I'm entering the contest, and FYI, not only do I read books, but I review them on my teen-advice-column blog. In fact, I'm posting a smashingly wonderful review of SHIVER on Friday, Jan. 29th. Loved it! Thanks for creating such a wonder.

I'll email you for BALLAD. I read. I review. I promote.
