Haha. That's hilarious, but not too good for you. :-) I love the last line.
LOL! Evil beaver :):)
That sounds oddly familiar. Except for that last line.
Best of luck!
Hehe. We children take immense pride in annoying our respective parents. I'm 16-years-old and I still do that...minus claiming I'm an evil beaver. My father is so happy I'm starting school again. Now he can work in peace without me coming in every few hours ranting about the injustice of the low self esteem in female protagonists. XD
Good luck with the writing! :)

Holy crow, that sounds like my house!!
lol Good luck lol...now go finish my book lol just kidding
This makes me so happy. It so captures my end-of-summer days that I shared it on my blog (with full credit of course). Angry Beaver indeed. Welcome to my world...
haha... ah little kids you have to love them. Evil beaver... how inventive. I'm so sorry I know how annoying it can be to get interrupted when you are in the middle of a train of thought. My brother and sister interrupt all the time and when one is trying to write an essay or anything for that matter it gets really annoying.
I could babysit...... oh wait that would just add to the noise. You should have them start reading!!!
So....when does school start? ;) My 6 yo returns on the 30th for 1st grade! :) Woohoo!
I think you and CKHB would enjoy talking about how parents make writers during some quiet time together.
Haha. Got to love the imagination there to come up with "I'm an evil beaver." :)
Haha! And that will be a chapter in FOREVER. Like:
"Sam, I love you." , I said.
"Grace, there is a thing I have to tell you... I'm an evil beaver."
"WHAT?"
Have a good day!
Love the last line. ;)
Isn't it scary though when the kids all of a sudden get quiet? Even if only for 10 seconds?
Sounds like a good idea for a new book. (; When I was little I wrote a story about evil squirrels. Maybe there is something odd about rodents after all...
@Kelly, yes the sudden quiet is terrifying and suspicious.
And first full length day of school? today. oh yes . . .
OMG...how have I missed this...is Forever next in the Shiver, Linger, series...have I been asleep?
Yep, Patty, FOREVER is the final SHIVER book!
