Because I lack the ability to choose only one winner, and because I have my blog split over both Livejournal and Blogger, I picked two random winners:
Colleen from Blogger
and
Oh she speaks from LJ.
Both of you please shoot me an e-mail with your mailing addresses.
Thank you everyone for giving it a listen and also for giving me your thoughts on the narrators and on audiobooks!

Congratulations winners!!
Bummer. My comment from yesterday disappeared too. :(
I know, folks. I lost about 100 comments, and I don't know why, and it irritates me BADLY. I'm really sorry about that.
Condensed version of my thoughts on audiobooks, since you missed it the other day: If it's a book I need to chew on, re-read, think about as I go along... I can't listen to it (eg: A Brief History of Time, Wuthering Heights, etc).
If it's a book with good prose, good tempo, really good readers (yes, those can make or break a book too), and something I'd devour all in one go, it makes a great audiobook.
I'd have to say that I definitely devoured Scorpio Races all in one sitting. And then went back and told my hubby I was going to read it to him. It's great audio-book material, and I bet it's going to be an awesome movie too. :)
Congrats to the winners!
Hey Maggie. Is there anyway I can get a personalized book for one of my friends? Like maybe sending a SASE with the book? She's a foreign exchange student from Thailand and loves Shiver.
@BaritoneGirl - sorry for the belated reply! You can order a signed copy from Fountain Bookstore: (http://fountainbookstore.com/autograph-maggie) and get it shipped all over the world (you have to e-mail them for overseas shipping quotes, but they're happy to do it). You could also mail me an SASE at the address on my website: www.maggiestiefvater.com. :)
